EOM (Exploration of Motion) is an audiovisual research project exploring the relationship between humans and technology through the study of movement. In our contemporary era, technology exerts an increasingly profound influence on our daily lives. As human civilization advances, so too does technology, and our current pace of progression adds layers of complexity to the intricate relationship between humans and technology.

Sebastian Palencia is a self-taught Filipino-Canadian photographer and designer. His work strives to explore the complexity of individuals, discovering visceral beauty in different forms. In his early stages, he often found himself reminiscing and used photography and image-making to document and catalogue his experiences. Throughout his journey, he has learned how to integrate these moments and memories, creating engaging dialogues through his work.
