Nineteen Eighty Nine – Nineteen Ninety
Informed by family stories and personal histories, the performance Nineteen Eighty Nine
-Nineteen Ninety reflects on the journeys of the Vietnamese boat people from Vietnam to Canada. The performance questions the inextricability of healing and trauma and contemplates how a hyphenated being further complicates these threads.
