How to Zine
How to Zine is a video compilation created by Moniker Press with community contributions as a resource for inspiration and process, encapsulating the multitude of practices that can be utilized to create a zine.
The layered video clips cycle through six categories in the process of creation; inspiration, making, editing, printing, finishing and distributing.

Artist Bio
Moniker Press is a risograph print and publishing studio in Vancouver, BC, that works collaboratively with artists and writers to produce small editions of books, zines and print ephemera. Since beginning in 2014, Moniker Press has evolved from a small project of artist Erica Wilk, to her main practice—that she uses as a platform for collaboration and experimentation. Wilk is originally from amiskwaciy-wâskahikan, Treaty 6 territory (Edmonton, Alberta), and studied Fine Art at Grant MacEwan University. She then moved to Vancouver to study Contemporary Art in India with Simon Fraser University’s Field Study program and to complete her BFA at Emily Carr University.
